What da Heck!!!!

Student arrested for dumping newborn baby
By SYLVIA LOOI

IPOH: An 18-year-old student was detained for allegedly dumping her newborn baby.

State CID chief Senior Asst Comm (II) Ismail Yatim said a cleaning lady found the baby boy’s body in a hostel room of the institution of higher learning near here Wednesday.

“A roll call was then called by the hostel warden at noon to determine the baby’s mother,” he said.

The student gave herself away when the policemen, who were sent to the scene to investigate, noticed her pale face, said SAC (II) Ismail,

The student admitted to being the mother of the baby when the police questioned her, he said.

The baby’s remains were sent to Changkat Melintang Hospital for post-mortem, he added.

The girl has been released on police bail.

My Comment:

Astaghfirullah, I'm speechless. If I met this 'girl', I could burst into rage. But Allah is the most forgiving. It's just that I wonder if she's is qualified to be called as a 'University Student'. If she is, then we may be at par with her. I hate that! It's embarassing! most important, it's terribly sinful!

More often than not that people obey when 'polis kata jangan'. But, when 'Allah kata jangan', it seems 'negligible'. What da heck!!!!

What did Guy Do??

Assalamualaikum,

This time around, I feel like want to share with you an article written by my junior in MRSM PC last time which is originally published in her Friendster Blog.

Interesting I would say. Of course not that accurate since she is no professional psychologist or motivator. But for a 17 or 18 years old experience, this is quite engaging.

I just improve it a little to make it 'readable'. hehe. Plus a few corrections on wording. So, this is totally hers. Let's read!

I have no idea how i can come up with this topic in my mind. It is weird but i just keep wondering how would a man survive from stress, pressure or problems.it is undeniable that as a human being we could not avoid ourselves from having problems or dealing with the stressful phase in our lives.

I do know how usually a girl or woman deal with tensions. some of them might cry.if you guys think that crying is like showing weaknesses, there is where you are really wrong. The healing power of crying is very excellent and better than eating chocolates. Well, in term of it would not give you a weight gain.. hehe.. eating chocolates is also one of the amazing solution for girl to really calm down under a very terrible strain she has been in. But be careful not to eat too much or it will leads you to another problems.

Facing with a lot of problems could also be reduced by talking or sharing them with the one that close to you. It could be your best friend (what i always do), your mom (i would not really suggest this way for myself), teacher (the one that u really trust k?) and maybe the counselor (i dunno who really share their problems with counselor). It is not that i am denying the expertise of a counselor but in a way of what i am thinking is that people usually not really comfortable sharing problems with people they have just met or known. .. other way that girls normally do when they are under pressure are writing in diaries.well this is mostly for the person that feel it is hard to trust human.so they talk to the book but make sure you don't put it in easily seen place as it would trigger anyone to feel like reading it even though all of us know that diaries should be a private thing. Bear in mind, the more the thing is forbidden the more exciting and desirable it becomes.

Crying, eating chocolates, sharing and diaries. These are the most common things that girls do when they are in no mood. Maybe some of them have other ways but those are the things that i discovered through experience and observation. Going back to my question what would guys do in the same situation? Don't say that they cry as well. Do they? It is not that i am saying guys can't cry but yeah i have to say that crying and guys are not compatible. The most egoistic creature in the world burst into tears when dealing with problems? It sounds a little bit shameful. Isn't it? Giving credit to the fact that guys are still human being, I would have to say that yes they can cry but only in some circumstances. Eating chocolates is quite OK with guys but personally i don't think that guys use this way because it is just a temporary solution that is not going to solve the problems but it would comfort your feeling and put you in a tranquil situation so that you can think rationally on how to face the problem. Guys are always rushing especially when it comes to deal with problems. They want it to be settled as soon as possible so I think they would not have time to enjoy the full sensation of eating chocolate. Sharing would not always be the right thing for a man to do in this tight spots.

Well, no man in this world wants his friends to know that he is having problems. Guys you have to admit this. It is a fact that man really afraid of letting people know about his problems as they are scared of being said as weak or spoiled child.i read it in one of man's magazine. Diaries? Isn't it weird if a guy has a diary?? Especially in pink or purple or apple green.. haha.. It is not a fault if they do have diaries for arranging their schedules and reminding them about important dates in their lives. But having a diary as a place to share the unfortunate things that happen would not be a normal thing anymore for a straight man..

Then, what did guys do when they are under pressure? Me myself don't have the answer. I have asked a few of my friends regarding this issue and i get quite some honest answers from them. The most often thing man did when having problems is isolate themselves. He loves to be alone and maybe takes that time to think about his problems. or maybe he needs to be alone to hide from his friends avoiding them from knowing that he has problems. Besides, guy also tends to keep himself busy at the moment doing a lot of activities to get rid of all the stress in his mind. He might go out with friends, smokes, jamming, play snooker and so on.the unacceptable one is driving with a neck-breaking speed. So, when you see a guy drives really fast,it shows that he is in the hot soup that keeps on boiling. hmmmm... so that's mean the f1 driver who want to win the race should be depressed all the time?hehe...whatever it is,i am sure all of us can really see the differences between guys and gurls...... juz doin this for fun..no bad intention kay...hehe...(@_@)

My Comment:

Of course! Man is the most egoistic creature in the world. They don’t want to contaminate their credibility. You know what happen if they lose it. It’s just like losing their life. Therefore, they just tell their best, trusted and reliable friend (man would only have one best friend in their life-time. Others are only ordinary friends) to get their opinion. But, it is undeniable that man takes time to get his problems been heard.

The most often thing man did when having problems is isolate themselves.

Not always true. It may be true for a paranoid. Most of the time, man would consult their best and reliable friends to solve his problems. Plus, man is very good in hiding his problems from anybody (except their best friend). And to isolate yourself may obviously expose that you are in problematic state isn’t it? Usually, man put the faculty of rationale ahead of faculty of emotion.

Besides, guy also tends to keep himself busy at the moment doing a lot of activities to get rid of all the stress in his mind.

Yeah, right indeed. That does explain me. Haha.. Instead of having time to rest mind, man would indulge by having a lot of pleasurable activities. That keeps them away from all those stressful problems. So, it is advised for wife not to press your husband too hard. Get him done his job by his own willingness. I don’t know how but woman knows best isn’t it?

Love is All that Matters

Chinese lettering for 'Love'

If you cannot work with love but only with distaste, it is better that you should leave your work. Khalil Gibran

Assalamualaikum,

Praised be to Allah that I’m given the time, health and space to pen my thought again parallel to my ultimate aim which is to perform Jihad for Allah’s cause.

Having said that nowadays, with the fuel price incredibly hiking with time, everything needs money. Well, there is a prediction by economists that price hikes will stop at certain point which is called breaking point. But, all I want to state here is that with the economy condition currently terribly going down, everyone thinks about money. Money, money and money. In simple words, our ultimate aim is money.

Actually, I was triggered by my lecturer’s word during his quite engaging lecture this morning regarding the chemical engineers profession. He said:

“Being a chemical engineer, you can work even in offshore, hundreds or even thousands kilometers from the beach. Working there for weeks and then only you can go home. It’s ok. All you want is money isn’t it? You want to buy cars, houses and so on.”

Logically, you won’t get huge rewards without huge sacrifice. You won’t get the reward of heaven in the hereafter if you just sitting comfortably on your seat, doing something against Allah’s will and neglect your entire obligation as Allah’s staunch servant. But let’s refer to the 2nd habit of Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People which is ‘begin with the end in mind’. Contextually, money is your end in mind. Well, just think my friends. Does money is all that matters in your life?

OK, maybe it is very difficult to answer. So, absorb this well. As what I stated earlier, huge reward comes with huge sacrifice. Maybe I can continue further. In my context as a future engineer, great pay comes with a great risk. So what you need to ‘pay’ upon receiving the staggering RM10, 000 by the end of every month? Broken marriage, emotional disturbance, sinful life and eventually, your life perhaps. Those are the prices that you need to pay if you put money as your end goal. I want to put a simple question. Does our life worth RM10, 000? You know the answer.

The main thing that I want to put here is about the value of love. Love is priceless. You may have billions of ringgit in your bank account, maids to take care of your household matters, branded attire, luxury houses and cars. But, take this word. MONEY CANNOT BUY LOVE. As a prove, a lot of cases reported in newspaper, a girl comes from rich family can easily fall in love with boy from poor family even though she maybe have known him for only a day. Even only for an hour is also possible. But end up being raped after following the guy to somewhere private. Why? It is because of LOVE. Maybe you say that money can get you a hot wife. But what’s the difference between your wife and prostitute if money is the main tool for getting a wife? Sorry if you feel offended but that’s the reality. True wife acts as a wife because of the value of love not money.

All I want to say here is just live your life with love. Learn something with love. Work with love. Sacrifice with love. But put your love on the right place. The main priority, definitely love for Allah followed by Rasulullah. Then, your mother, mother and mother again. After that only your father. Everyone in your family need to let you go with love so that they are not much feel burdened or stressed by your inexistence.

If you love somebody, let them go, for if they return, they were always yours. And if they don't, they never were. Khalil Gibran

With love, every step of yours can be considered as an Ibadah. That makes your sacrifice worth it. Believe me, money cannot pay your sacrifice sufficiently but love did. In the end, LOVE IS ALL THAT MATTERS!

Allah Can Answer You

Dear Friends, have you ever feel down towards your life? You know, being tested heavily again and again to your exhaustion. Yes? So do I. Maybe you want to ask Allah a few questions to quench your confusion like why does Allah want to test me? Why didn't He just place me in Paradise? He has the supreme power to do that though..

Well, Allah answers you in Surah Al-Ankabut, verses 2 to 3

“Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, "We believe", and that they will not be tested? We did test those before them, and Allah will certainly know those who are true from those who are false. “

Owh yes indeed! How can I say that I am a staunch servant of God without being tested to certain extent? Make sense isn’t it? Just like in exam. We can only differentiate a hardworking student and a lazy student through exam don’t you? So, just take them as an exam, face them accordingly and wait for the result in the hereafter.

What if I can’t bear the test anymore? It’s too heavy that make me lost my appetite, having a sleepless night, depressed and so on. Open Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 286. Allah tells you,

“On no soul doth Allah Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns….”

Allah is the One who created us. Definitely He knows everything about us from outer look to the core of our heart. It includes our capacity and capability. So, it is not fair for Him to burden us with something beyond our limit. The thing is we actually have the strength to cope with any challenge come to our way. It’s maybe hiding somewhere. Therefore, we need to look for some sort of inspiration to bring out the hidden strength.

But how? Again Allah save us by giving the answer in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 45,

“….. seek ((Allah)'s) help with patient perseverance and prayer: It is indeed hard, except to those who bring a lowly spirit(khusyuk)”

And Surah Al-Imran, verse 200,

“O ye who believe! Persevere in patience and constancy; vie in such perseverance; strengthen each other; and fear Allah. that ye may prosper”

Alhamdulillah, at least we have the guidance to find our strength from The Most Supreme Ruler, Allah. They are Solat(prayer). Of course a simple Solat would not do anything. It must come with Khusyuk. Allah tells us also to have patience, perseverance, and constancy in whatever we do. Not to forget to help other and fear Allah(Taqwa). InsyaAllah the strength will come out and the success will follow soon after.

However, I’ve seen that many of my friends didn’t manage to get what they are after. They’ve already strived to their utmost to succeed. Unfortunately, to their despair, they fail. Why ya Allah? Why? He stated in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 216,

“……. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not. “

True! Sometime, things that we are up to can actually harm us. At the same time, we wouldn’t know something that we throw away or hate can actually be beneficial to us. So, just assume that Allah want the best for us in everything. Be patient and continue living your life for the sake of Allah.
